wearing my bangs braided to the side is sort of a spring tradition for me. braids are so springtime in my mind. it also makes me feel a little weird to see myself without poofy bangs.
the boys are enjoying that little playhouse on whole new levels this year. and could i love those chubby fingers any more? i think not.
sand box in the morning. sandbox in the evening. sandbox at supper time.
sand is everywhere. i don’t mind…one day i will miss the sand.
i do mind when it’s in my baby’s mouth. stop eating the sand, foz.
i love that my backyard is this. hills, trees, the beauty of God’s creation. for miles.
β¦most of the time. i may have gotten a little toasty in my hour lay out session while foster napped and brody didn’t but i was pretending he was. my collar bone area is feeling warm right now. and i have been wearing that same green velvety strapless shirt to lay out in the sun for the past SEVEN years. yelp!

how cute are your bangs braided? so fun! It was sunny here in California also…we worked/played in the yard all weekend & my girls faces are very pink…I totally forgot to put sunscreen on them. oops! Happy Monday to you also!

Your boys are so cute!
I also spent most of the weekend outside with the kids… Had to take advantage of this beautiful weather! I don't mind the dirt they track in when they're having so much fun! Like you said, someday, we'll miss that dirt! π

So glad the boys can play outside! My parents used to take me to the beach on an almost weekly basis and I would eat fistfuls of sand- I still turned out ok (I think) so your kiddos should be fine, haha π

one day you will so miss the sand! π
kids grow way too fast!

Your hair is gorgeous like that! I've tried braiding my bangs but haven't got it down yet. I'm hopeless.

and i so agree with you on the bangs thing – i love braiding them to the side but i feel like i look like i have a forehead the size of mount rushmore without them π

your beauty has officially motivated me to try something new with my hair (read: copy exactly what you did and braid my bangs). Lovely!
I love your photo recaps. I know I've said this over & over, but keep 'em coming! Such eye candy : )

braided bangs?! you hippie.
hilarious that you wear the same shirt to lay out in. but i mean, you know what works. get it girl.

hey, if the green velvety strapless shirt aint broke, don't fix it! I wish I had a pic of the sandy diapers I used to change on Nathan, he ate sand constantly. That is some serious diaper rash π
