this weekend we leave for a little escape to the mountains. a week in a lake house, our family all together, no phones, no internet. just us, the water, the crisp september mornings. a little canoeing, a little hiking, a little hammocking. a little time before we become a family of five…and then six. not sure which baby will be five and which baby will be six but a little time together before our family grows, none the less.
while i’m gone i have a wonderful guest post series lined up.
six women will be sharing on all different aspects of adoption. six women i admire and am blessed to know in this interwebs world. i’ve shared it before and i will say it again, i have learned so much, SO much, from bloggers about adoption. i would even say that they opened my heart to it even more. the stories, the emotions, the love, the messiness, the realness. i would encourage to spend some time reading each of these women’s blogs. their love for adoption and for Christ is something i would pray to emulate. i know these posts will bless you as much as they have blessed me.
also, i have something super exciting lined up for when we return. on monday, september 12th i will be hosting a HUGE giveaway fundraiser right here with 100% of the proceeds going to our adoption fund. please come back here, check it out, drool over the winnings, donate with love, and help us bring our sweet baby home.
give, and it will be given to you. a good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. for with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

here are some other ways you can help support us financially in our adoption:
shop pink lemonade! my collection is right here and 50% of the proceeds go to our adoption fund. thank you, thank you, thank you, paige!
let me design your blog. email me for blog design pricing and information.
buy a wreath. i realize there is only one in the shop. i may or may not be a slacker with crafting the last four months right now. but you can buy that one. holla.
sponsor my sweet friend jami’s blog. jami emailed me and asked me if she could donate the proceeds from sponsors on her blog to our adoption fund. jami has never met me. she just has a heart for Christ, a heart to give, and cares for this sweet baby that we will one day call our own. also, i will be meeting jami in approximately 24 days… and i will be body slammin’ her. also again, spend a lot of time on her blog. it will bless you out.
sponsor my blog. information right here.
there is also a donate button right down thur on the sidebar.
i hope you all have a beautiful week.
happy september… my favorite season is just about here!
