today i’m embracing the camera with emily, for the first time eva. you should embrace it, too.
someone asked me if i do my hair and makeup every day as a stay at home mom. i laughed really hard and then i answered that question with a big N to the O. i do love fashion and getting dressed like a normal person but, i love wearing a t-shirt and shorts, throwing my hair on top of my head and not putting my contacts in even more.
a) singing a song to cheer up a miserable baby. his typical disgusted face in response.
b) i like to make this face sometimes.
c) i don’t know what finger foster is flashing at you but i know which one it looks like…mmmmkay.
i get the i’m going to get dressed every day and motivate myself to do more. but let’s be real, if i’m not going anywhere that is not happening. if you swing by my house unexpectedly i am running to put a bra on before you get to the door. do not think about that mental image please.
i said please.
that being said…
i do not go out in public like this…usually. i mean with no makeup and hair on top of my head, not braless. what do you take me for? but, the times i do, i always see someone i know. funny how that works.
embrace your camera today. or take gnarly photobooth pictures like me. you will be happy you did… i think.

i can completely relate! i haven't had a shower in like three days. 🙂 and i am totally with you on the braless thing, too. it's pretty sad. (and i am a nursing mom too, so lots of days there are leakage spots on my shirt. good times! we'll laugh about this stage in our lives one day. (i hope!) haha… lora
hahaha…i laughed so hard right now….at least you CAN go with out a bra…these mom boobs need it EVERY.DAY.

What is that about seeing people you know when you look your worst?1 It's inevitable. I think it's God testing our vanity.
girl, i hear ya. i haven't put a bra on since sunday!
cute. I like your faces.
ha cute! I rocked a big old shirt of my hubby's and a torn (but not on purpose if you know what I mean) jean skirt all day. Hair and makeup? yeah, not so much. and I even ventured out of the house today. Of course I wore a cute coat, but…
I'm dying over the bra-less comment! that's me to a T if we're at home all day! doorbell rings & I'm running to put a bra on! ha! and the no contact thing is HEAVEN!
Hahaha. I love this post! You made me smile. Cute series of pictures too!
Rock it baby! You are hawt!
And love your glasses. Love <3
love it. I am the same way, if we aren't going anywhere, they I stay in comfy clothes, no make up and crazy hair 🙂 great pictures!

Funny and Honest, love it! =)
I LOVE LOVE LOVE a good messy bun on top of my head! You rock that one nicely! I cannot wait until my hair grows out!
bahaha!!!! just yesterday my brother in law stopped by the house and knocked on the door and just waited for me to run and grab a bra…because he knows that his wife and i are sisters and that i wasn't expecting visitors. yes, that predictable.
great pics 🙂
my thought is, "why create *more* laundry?!" i'm always behind as it is!
and i really laughed, because i do the panicky bra run when someone knocks on my door, too!
I'm just glad to know I'm not the only one.
Those are too cute! And it depends on who shows up unexpectedly….if you are a REALLY good friend you may not even get a bra out of me 😉
Just happy im not the only one.
those are the best kinda days when you get to have no makeup & messy hair day (however, i am wishing that my hair could look like yours when it is not fixed).. 🙂
blessings to u!!
ok if i looked as hot as you with no make-up on and my hair on top of my head i WOULD go out in public like that! {with a bra of course.} but so true every time i think oh i'm just gonna make a quick trip to the store looking like this i ALWAYS see someone i know. and i'm always mortified.
Love it!
hah! the other day, I told my husband to touch my boobs. not in a sexual way but in a "im-wearing-a-real-bra-as-opposed-to-a-nursing-friendly-tank" way. sorry if thats TMI but i thought of that when i read your post. so honest i love it!
want to know my theory about dressing up everyday? if i do i really wont get anything around the house done, who wants to do house work when they spent hours getting dressed. NOT ME! as for BRA'S WHO NEEDS EM!!!
😉
xxO
So I just discovered your blog through my sis-in-law Audrey! (Baker Estate!) Love your sweet babies and that your hub's name is Caleb like mine! Have a great Thursday! You are too cute!
Oh I love you braless woman.
Rock it out momma!!! These are my favorite moments!!!! Love your pics! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Every time I leave my house, I am looking over my shoulder for Clinton and Stacey… One of these days I think I might get ambushed…
the mama look is hot. I rock slippers everyday and sometimes end up dropping off my kid at school with them on. I'm an embarrasment waiting to happen, but kiddos are so forgiving, right?! 😉
Nice! Getting dressed is totally overrated!
You are beautiful, and this post made me smile. 🙂 Love just how down-to-earth you are!
youre so cute! i wish i looked that good with glasses on and hair up!!
Hah! Seriously like this everyday (except you are way cuter). I love how you used the word gnarly. But being a momma is the best 🙂
Nice momma pictures. Love!
I always go out mom style – hair unbrushed, no makeup, no shower. I try to remember deodorant & clean clothes & real shoes. Those are normal fashion/grooming goals I have for myself.
fun photos!
how fun. love the photos.
Oh gosh, I SO don't embrace the camera. I feel like I should more, though, because whenever I'm looking at pictures of family things, there's a bunch of my girls with my husband but few with me. They're going to think I never did any of the fun things with them! LOL!
