I guess I forgot I had a blog for a second there. But, I’m gonna write it all down now so I can read it all again one day. If your blog is a little quiet these days: dust it on off and tell your story.
I remember celebrating Easter as a kid where my sisters and I would eat ourselves into a candy coma and then lay on our parents bed clutching our stomachs, about to throw it all up. That’s a fun fact for you. Easter is now my favorite holiday, cause what I couldn’t grasp then, with the chocolate bunny hangover, was the gift that Christ gave me, was the price that He paid for me. And now, oh Lord, I pray that I feel the feelings of gratitude and devotion to my Jesus as strongly every day as I did this past Easter.
One of my favorite songs puts it so perfectly:
How deep the Father’s love for us, how vast beyond all measure.
That He should give His only Son, to make a wretch His treasure.
It was my sin that held Him there, until it was accomplished.
His dying breath has brought me life, I know that it is finished.
I will not boast in anything, no gifts, no power, no wisdom.
But I will boast in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection.

the kiss…bill and try that every year for christmas pics and we just can't do it. i could do a whole post just with those out takes. Story's dress is ridiculous. and yes, mustard yellow is the new pastel pink. we were in our bathing suits on Easter sooooo.
