here’s a little something something i put together for our bedroom…
which is finally getting decorated after living in our house almost two years. mkay?
supplies:
wall letters, spray paint, pants hanger, land of ampersand print from the wheatfield,
all embellishments, twine & yarn from the gilded bee, hot glue & scissors.
i mean… can you even handle katie daisy’s artwork? it’s in every room in our house.
and the gilded bee! it may be my favorite etsy shop ever. the dainty packaging, the wooden spools, and those little flower arrangements? those would be my husband’s & groomsmen’s corsages if i was to plan my wedding all over again.
i bought the wooden letters at michael’s and spray painted them blue…
and then that blue was a little too blue for me so i went over it with some white trim paint. bam.

wooden pants hanger is from wal mart, i spray painted it red… and totally got the paint all over the place.
but that’s okay cause i love chippy paint.

embellish your letters! wrap em, glue em, twist ’em, twine ’em, butterfly ’em.
hang it all up!
yes, these letters have fallen on my husband’s head in the middle the night.
and yes, i laughed so hard i almost peed my pants. and then i did nothing about it until now…
but, i just reinforced them with new picture hanging strips
as to prevent any future late night mishaps. ahem.
