the time change has brought early rising babies and darker afternoons. i could do without both of those but, it also brought an unexpected snowfall that i am quite fond of. mmmm, there is something so cozy about a cold november morning, watching the snowfall with my boys. the awe in brody’s eyes as he sees the giant snowflakes out the window. i can almost see his little brain processing his past memories of the beautiful snow.
last week i was sweating after walking a couple miles while pushing the good old double stroller. i guess that doesn’t say much cause sweating is pretty much my claim to fame. my girlfriends can vouch for me. we were breaking out tee shirts and bubbles just a few days ago and then this morning we opened our doors to this:

but, my favorite season of autumn, tell me you haven’t come and gone so quickly.
this is our sweet friend, eliana.
she comes to play us with us a couple times a week and my boys adore her. she and brody say “hi bodee!’, “hi eli!”, over and over and over again when they first see each other and then smush together into this sort of head-tilt-side-hug-cuteness. they laugh endlessly, sing and dance to elmo, jump up and down on my bed, and chase each other around the house for what seems like hours. it is so sweet. she loves foster, who she calls the little baby…even though he’s got at least 8 pounds on her and tries to snag her pacifier any chance he gets.

Wow, that snow is beautiful. I can't say that I envy you just yet, but it's really, really pretty!

we had a one inch snowfall on saturday here in ohio. today we it's 60 degrees and sunny. i love the contrast, oh the joys of ohio weather!
