caleb and i snuck away to chicago for four days last week. it was such a wonderful, blessed time for us together. we ate delicious food, saw the beautiful city of chicago, and best of all, spent as much time as possible with our precious family; my husband’s sister stacy, her husband reggie, and our niece and nephew, darion and simone. we left half our hearts there with them in chicago. until next time…

Gosh, I can never get enough of big city photos. I've never been to the windy city, but it's on my list of places to go. I'm so jealous you got to sneak away with your hubs. My kids are too little for me to do that, but someday soon I'll get so slip away too 😉

so . . . this is super funny . . . I was looking at your beautiful pictures and I was like, 'man, her brother-in-law kind of looks familiar'. And then I saw his name on his diploma and I thought his name sounded familiar. I texted my husband at work and I wasn't losing my mind at all — your b-i-l was my husband's residence hall director at a bible college in the bay area. Small world! 🙂
