busy bees

so, this is a tad bit of a photo overload but we had a packed weekend so what can i say? brody tried his hand at some more t-ball. derek jeter, watch out. this boy can hit that ball.

and he is, indeed, a rock star.

i was trying to keep foster smiling for some pictures and wasn’t paying too much attention to brody and his concoction of dirt, sand, grass and rain water. i turn around to see him shoveling the mixture into his mouth with his “spoon”, aka that chard of wood. i proceed to scrape it out of his mouth, pull some grass out of his teeth and get him some water. two minutes later he’s going for the second bite like it’s his favorite meal. why?

we had a wonderful time visiting with friends in saratoga and ate at gaffney’s for the first time. i had the summer chicken, mmmmmmm.

this was the first time foster wore jeans (i know). thought we should document it since it probably won’t happen again for quite some time. he didn’t like them that much anyway. he lived in the same pajamas through the winter and is throughly enjoying sporting a diaper, and only a diaper, for his summer style.

on sunday we had a family get together in rhinebeck. it was so good to see everyone and even though foster looks miserable he was really having the time of his life. oh wait, no he wasn’t. but it was still a great day.
