mustard yellow, adjustable size, beautifully made, buttons, rosettes, and ruffles.
i will even go so far as to channel my inner rachel zoe.
i die.

“growing up in a house full of boys never stopped me from being a girly girl. amid all the rough-and-tumble, i still found myself sewing, altering, and creating. i had a passion for color, which i expressed by painting walls, floors, chairs- anything i could get my hands on! i come from a family of artists, my grandpa was a professor of art at utah state university, and my uncle teaches high school art.
with art in the blood, it was no surprise that i married an artist. my husband, jeremy is a professional artist that works mainly with oil on canvas. jeremy’s family owns and operates a gallery in utah. we are now the parents of three adorable little artsy, fartsy girls.
i try to sew or make girly things anytime i can. i still find inspiration in color, and make each item unique and fun. i have a fun line of hair accessories and skirts ranging from cute and elegant to bohemian and vintage-inspired.”

these are my hair down pictures. i rocked it this way to church on sunday.
my husband didn’t find it the slightest bit strange that i asked him to follow me out into the snow and take pictures, showcasing my headband, while i danced around.
i’m not quite sure what that says about me.

  2. Love it!!! I really want to start collecting so cute headbands for summer time! I'm growing my hair out and I'm going to need lots of things to hold it out my face come summer/heat. I'll have to check these out, her boutique looks adorable!

  8. hippie style is my favorite. i have issues with mustard yellow too. i have to tell myself "no" alot since you start to look a little 1980s when all your accesories are perfectly matching…ha ha! sadly my second favorite is citron…not that far off from mustard…..issues.

  11. I love it! The side pony tail is my favorite. I usually get frustrated with headbands because a lot of them won't stay on my head. An adjustable one would be perfect!

  15. I <3 these headbands! Got one for my 4 y.o. who decided to take haircutting into her own hands, and it was wide enough to cover all the spots of bare scalp! After her hair grew out a bit, I totally stole it. 🙂 Danielle of Sugar Blossom Boutique is AWESOME, and her headbands saved the day!!! BTW, her skirts are way cute, too!!!
