first up, {amy} you won yourself a little something something from pink lemonade!
email me so i can get you hooked up.
the beauty book began it’s journey on saturday. it felt good to write a little bit of my own story and share something with women who are around my age or older. a lot of times i think struggles with self image and self worth are pegged on adolescence. it’s almost like when it comes time to graduate college, begin a career, get married, have children, or just when we reach a certain age, we are not supposed to struggle that way. but, i know many women are. i want Jesus to fill these women up with hope in Him to overcome these struggles. i want Jesus to assure and reassure each of them how beautiful they truly are. my prayer is that the beauty book will help in that.
the beauty book project is sponsored by aubrey plays.
i couldn’t, for the life of me, get my pink nail polish off my toenails. naturally, i just caked some more on top of it… and now it’s chipped and lookin’ classy. also classy? those sandals that i bought at target in 2005 for my sister in law’s wedding. they broke this weekend. and then so did my heart.
father’s day 2011. so thankful for a husband who sacrifices, provides, loves, and serves. most of all for a husband who seeks Jesus first and foremost.
also, thankful that he is passing down his love for camo shorts & black t-shirts to our boys. three of a kind.
oh em gee. i know all you west coasters have been eating at frozen yogurt (with endless toppings) places for, like, years now. but, hey, this was my first experience. or maybe first seven experiences cause i went every day for a week. 16 handles, you have my heart.
and here’s a random list of things to do with your kids when you’re all bored.
1) open up the back of your van and have a picnic, or just let your kids climb around.
2) chew on sticks.
3) sing songs about swinging on swings while swinging. warning: this could last a long time.
aren’t i so creative?
and on a completely different note.
i jumped on the pinterest train…
this may take me a while to get into, considering i have pinned one thing in my whole pinning career.
also, for all you local folk, i am offering 30-45 minute photo sessions this saturday for $45. this includes all your pictures edited and on a cd for you. email me if you are interested!
happy monday!
