most of our days are looking like this…
have you heard about the heat wave that’s hitting us here in upstate new york? our upstairs apartment is 83 degrees today, that’s with 3 air conditioners running. ya heard it right, we’re melting. no seriously, we’re meeelllltttiiinggg.
we LOVE our pool. we spend endless hours there every day. brody and i usually head out for a few hours while fost takes his morning nap. we then get him up, pack up our food and head back poolside to munch on lunches while dipping our toes in the water. one more quick jump and swim before we head in for afternoon naps. wake up, lather on some more lotion and head back out. cook dinner out if we’re lucky and last night we even tucked the kids in, grabbed their monitors and went for a late night swim. luscious.
summer always makes me think of country music. not ashamed to admit i love me some country music. as soon as july 4th hits, this tune pops into my head. or this one, this one or even this one. can you call kid rock a country music singer? whatever, i’ll go with it.
